I see the USA Russell 2000 (RUT) Small Caps got belted last night, will our Small Caps (XSO) also fall more than the other Indices as well, which might hurt some of our Comp selections today.

registered a tiny loss the day before as well ( unlike the big 3 indexes )
but we know that only a few stocks ( 7 main ones ) are holding up the US markets

well my selection is safely in the top 200 , it should be as safe as houses ( and if you believe that i have a purple polka dot flying pig to sell .. current whereabouts unknown , it flew off yesterday ... south i think )
Thanks for that debtfree, have been travelling round Oz the last few years and haven't devoted much time to the market but now tied down for a while. I'm quite enthusiastic about STK but I think it might have a bit of a pause before hopefully marching on.Nearly 3 year since @rcm617 had his last Tip so I thought STK must be a good one to lure the winner of 4 Monthly Competitions back. Good to see you back and all the best.

End of Week 2 in the October Monthly Competition .............. XSO is down -0.98% this month while the ASF Team Average is down -3.63%. Only 7 Positive Tips at the moment.
1st: @rcm617 STK 44.93% had a great week (up 31.58%) grabbing the lead nearing the half way mark. STK is certainly on a roll, up nearly 150% in the last 5 weeks.
2nd: @mullokintyre 3DA 30.23% eased off a little late in the week allowing the top spot to slip from his grasp but is still nicely placed.
3rd: @Craton PVE 21.43% had a quieter week and a good battle to retain the 3rd place from last weekend.
4th: @Miner LRS 20.41% had a good week (up 13.46%) and finished just behind PVE after a good battle.
Others that had good weeks: @Dona Ferentes TOR up 21.43% / @Sdajii AGY up 11.76%.
Good Luck all for next week and don't forget to enjoy your weekend Folks.

Today's Comp Update ..... The struggle continues with the XSO down -1.51% and the ASF Team Average down -4.61%. Even 1st, 2nd and 4th from the weekend have pulled back from their highs.
@rcm617 STK 34.78% is still in 1st Place ........ @Craton PVE 23.81% has moved up into 2nd Place .......... @mullokintyre 3DA 16.28% has now dropped back to 3rd Place. Sorry Mick, another sad face please

WC8 has had a wonderful run and is likely a "handy" stock to follow ... but I would suggest it could be closer to 40 than 50 by the end of the month
Some may retaliate and purport ... "how is PRS going atm?" .... A fair question, and in the vein of Anthony Albo ...
That is a question I will conveniently avoid!! LOL ......

May I state with appropriate dogged defiance
The majority of my "Monthly picks" are Stocks I hold in the real world ... and often with a rather substantial amount of moolah!
If I take the wooden spoon on any given month, you can be assured I am suffering on a personal level!
My current monthly pick of PRS has not been travelling too well for some time ... But it is also my second largest holding.
If it drops below .020, it would be feasible that you may not see me on ASF for some time, lol
pps That 1M order at .020 in the queue is mine ... It may or may not get pulled if circumstances change!

On face value I actually agree with you Captain. Its a tough hold at the moment, but that is par for the course with these types of Stocks.
If I get burned, I take it on the chin and move on ..... no excuses

Looks like another poor day for us coming up ....... SP500 was down -1.34% last night and the Small Caps (RUT) dipped down -2.11%.
