End of another week and only 1 week to go in the October Tipping Competition.
@Springs still leads with a merry dance up 140% so far this month but do I see a little weakness happening, time will tell. ?
A good 4 way battle for 2nd & 3rd spots but at the moment, @craigj is 2nd and @kenny 3rd just ahead of @noirua & @brerwallabi ?
Another pack are just behind ready to pounce next week and take some of the prize money. ? SHH not a word anyone, @Miner has even snuck his way up from 2nd last to be in this lot.
The market has been a little week this week but there has been a few movers.
THIS WEEK: @Miner up 53.85% - @Garpal Gumnut up 35.29% - @jbocker up 30% - @brerwallabi up 14.63% - @craigj up 14.29% - @noirua up 13.24%
TODAY: @Miner up 23.08% - @access up 22.73% - @Dona Ferentes up 17.07% - @Garpal Gumnut up 15%

While not wishing @Springs any bad luck with his brilliant pick of GIB it appears to me that I may have to give CNJ quite a good stimulant to even approach a place in the competition. I have just rounded the last turn and can see GIB with half the distance to go to the finish. @craigj and @kenny are also significantly ahead blocking me. All my trainer friends recommend a blood pressure tablet at this stage so without the cameras or stewards seeing now is my chance ( for the horse of course, not me ). This is not counting the motley mob of ne'er do wells behind me who would stoop lower than I to go wide and steal first place.

today's 100pt drop has cruelled quite a few show ponies, and intensified the slump for others (Knobby looks knobbled). Collectively , the entries were doing well, but now about even stevens.

I just saw an opening in the field and went for it. Mud on goggles so will ignore stewards until 4.10 pm tomorrow.

Congratulations to Springs, Garpal Gumnut, and craigj for taking out the top three places in the October 2020 stock tipping competition! 
Springs finished in first place with a spectacular 150% return with GIB! In second place was Garpal Gumnut, in his second consecutive podium finish, who achieved a remarkable 66.67% with his pick CNJ. Rounding out the top three for October was craigj who selected WHK, which returned a very respectable 60%.
Could Springs, Garpal Gumnut, and craigj please contact me via PM regarding their prizes.

Just one great day by @Springs early in the month and the game was over for 1st place with a 150% result this month, excellent. ?
There were quite a few during the month that thought they could slip away with the 2nd & 3rd prize money but most were left disappointed. ?
@Garpal Gumnut got his act together with a flying finish for 2nd place just ahead @craigj losing one place on the last day to finish 3rd with both having gains in the 60% area. Great returns as well. ?
Good moves ....
