Announcement loaded in Commsec this evening….
Nothing to see here apparently, not until assays results are announced early April. Apparently prelim results from Payns have been received but are ‘an incomplete data set’ and ‘ not considered material’.
Hopefully there’s something substantial lurking beneath Payns.

Selected for the April Monthly Comp as drill results should be released in April.
@Tyre Kicker let's hope so. Thinking there might have been a little results leak with the price spiking higher.

Looks like you are now well positioned for the top star for April tipping.
NXM published a very good result. Ironically the market yet to response. The proximity of NST resources and quality of JORC report, is no brainer for this stock.
I however often fail to believe on my first hand reading and make a mistake.

Shallow, good grade and pretty thick for a potentially open pittable project. This all looks to be step out extensional aircore drilling of the Payns prospect that abuts immediately south of the Northern Star's tenement that encompasses the 'Porphyry' and 'Million Dollar' mines and has a haul road running through it that looks to be ~ 30kms north of Northern Star's Carosue Dam processing hub.
They now are planning tonRC drill Payns.
Aircore results for two other regional prospects due late April.
From the announcement:
"Drilling at Payns Prospect (and target MC2.1) has followed up on previous AC drilling completed in 2024, with the aim to materially expand the footprint and understanding of the targets in preparation for reverse circulation (RC) drill target ranking.
"The Payns mineralised zone now covers an area of over 900m x 750m, and is strategically located along strike of major gold deposits currently being mined by Northern Star Resources.
"observation of visible gold further supports our confidence in the ongoing potential at the Payns prospect."
