Guitarist Tom Verlaine, who rose to fame in the 1970s New York scene as the frontman of rock band Television, has died at the age of 73.

Marquee Moon was a great album. Not really 'punk' but pushing the guitar sound further

My expectations were high and the band delivered.....

For Melbourne it was worth standing out in the drizzle to be near the front of the queue (all tickets GA, no seating, so first inside gets closest to the stage). Did the same for Sydney except it was warm and sunny outside.

I have a very soft spot for Enya. Absolutely fell in love with her in the 80's.
Enya still sells. Doesn't need to tour. Has retired to her (very) private castle.

Came across a very interesting story that I think is worth sharing.
Also attached one of her great songs which was used in The Epic Split Volvo Truck /Van Demme ad.
