The Ch 9 program was interesting, hearing the stripped back versions of well known songs. And quite a difference in approach, from stripped back to complexly arranged; a lack of multi-tracking on vocals meant the songs weren't overproduced.I listened to the channel 9 concert Music from the Home Front tonight - Australian and New Zealand music icons singing various songs from their homes mostly. A great way to finish off ANZAC day.
It was acknowledging and thanking our health workers with a sense of the spirit of the ANZACs shining through.

Sunbury-era Thorpie and the Aztecs were something to behold. I saw them live once, in a smallish country hall. To this day the loudest thing I've ever heard. I have no idea how I escaped permanent hearing damage. He was playing the gold top Les Paul, unbelievably cranked
