What scares me and I absolutely don't give a $hit, is the fact that you repeat exactly what the media fed to you this morning.
I think that's part of the parcel when talking about Trump. I think a few factors come into play as well for both sides. Funnily enough Trump was a Democrat at one stage and widely loved by certain circles that now hate him.I expected to be attacked.
Although it is the topic of this thread for me it is not even about Trump. I see several people a day in my business and genuinely pick up some sort of conversation. Inevitably the topic comes around to whatever the current narrative has programmed them to believe.I think that's part of the parcel when talking about Trump. Let's face it though Trump is a shtbag. But he was pushing the US in the right direction for the US(not the rest of the world). Even with his onshore manufacturing was eventually proven right despite the slow uptake.
I think he was the only outsider that didn't fall into line with the obvious public servant cartel in DC. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if he was assassinated if he looks like he will win again.
Trump has been brutalised by the establishment though. More so than any other I've seen. Biden is meanwhile given a free pass on some of the worst corruption we have seen. Media does some soft "Trump was right" speeches and then fail to investigate.
We had so many lies from media that it literally ruined them. I think people are seeing that so called "progressive" policy and ideas is actually the opposite.
The media has been so wrong/lied. Along with a large segment of so called "experts" on every topic. That quoting some of these news outlets has become a flashpoint.
Knobby it wasn't an attack, it was an observation, I was literally a bit shocked with the obvious influence the media has.I expected to be attacked.
I point again to this:Knobby it wasn't an attack, it was an observation, I was literally a bit shocked with the obvious influence the media has.
When certain people use references to the nazis and Hitler, it is called out as abhorrent to use that language, yet when it is focused on a person who is disliked it is completely acceptable and repeatable. Just another example of the hypocrisy that abounds today.
The Trumpet -----a loose cannon ready to explode at any timeI point again to this:
His official spokesman said Steve Cheung said " those who try to make that ridiculous assertion are snowflakes grasping for anything because they are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome and their existence will be crushed when President Trump arrives in the Whitehouse."
Reporting these comments is not unfair. This is scary stuff. A recent poll asked Republicans whether they would support Trump suspending the constitution to clean things up. 48% of Republicans said yes.
I am concerned as are many others including many notable Republicans what will happen if he returns.

Well from the snippets I see, it sounds like everyone may find out what it is like, for a second dose of Trump.I point again to this:

I have no dislike of the right winning an election. Maggie Thatcher is a hero of mine. I am very pro Uranium to the point that I have risked quite a bit of my families money on an unlisted Uranium Explorer. I am for democracy.Well from the snippets I see, it sounds like everyone may find out what it is like, for a second dose of Trump.
If you can believe the media they seem to think he has a good chance, I suppose with Biden getting older and more doddery people may just go with the safe option, as has happened in Argentina the unelectable become electable when people lose confidence in the Government and lets be honest, not much in the U.S has improved since Bidens mob got in.
A lot of unelectable people are getting elected at the moment, this is what happens when the pendulum swings.
What many deemed impossible just months ago is reality: right-wing populist Javier Milei resoundingly won Argentina’s presidency. The chainsaw-swinging Trump admirer who is Argentina’s new president
Argentina’s new president, right-wing populist Javier Milei, is set to insert the country into the global culture wars.www.smh.com.au
.
And with his victory, the fiery freshman politician has thrust the country into the unknown regarding just how extreme his policies will be, following a campaign in which he revved a chainsaw to symbolically cut the state down to size.
Three Swedish right-wing parties have agreed to form a government with the unprecedented support of the far-right Sweden Democrats, conservative leader Ulf Kristersson said Friday, October 14.Sweden's right-wing announces new government with far-right backing

"The Moderates, Christian Democrats and Liberals will build a government and cooperate with the Sweden Democrats in parliament", Ulf Kristersson, who is expected to become the next prime minister, told reporters.
The new government plans to build new nuclear reactors to help meet the country's rising electricity needs. "New nuclear reactors will be built", the leader of the Christian Democrats Ebba Busch told reporters on Friday.
Sweden has in recent years shut down six of its 12 reactors and the remaining ones, at three nuclear power plants, generate about 30% of the electricity used in the country today.
But the country has struggled to find viable alternative energy sources to replace nuclear power, with renewable energies not yet able to fully meet its needs.
I agree with you 100%, I came here from North Yorkshire as an 8 year old kid, my parents hated Thatcher when I was growing up, but when you look back she actually did what needed to be done. But that didn't stop a lot of false reporting happening, which actually probably was very unfair and was driven by emotion at the time.I have no dislike of the right winning an election. Maggie Thatcher is a hero of mine. I am very pro Uranium to the point that I have risked quite a bit of my families money on an unlisted Uranium Explorer. I am for democracy.
This is a good read.
Trump wasn't as vocal as this guy. But this is where we are at...
Always an answer and never a reason for why it happened in the first place.Unfortunately just history repeating itself at some point people start disappearing and then either before or after the military take over and more disappear etc ...South America.
Argentina needs radical action.Unfortunately just history repeating itself at some point people start disappearing and then either before or after the military take over and more disappear etc ...South America.

Happy to see if he will achieve anything. Maybe getting rid of the currency will help. Time to experiment, the high inflation is hurting the poor so something has to give.
He is a proper Libertarian except I don't see where banning abortion fits in. Expect he took some USA money to fund his campaign and had to agree to this.
"Everything than can be [put] into the hands of the private sector, will be in the hands of the private sector," he said. However, Mr Milei added that before YPF could be privatised, it would have to "rebuilt". He did not say how long that process could take.
The president-elect also announced that public works would be "cut down to zero" and those already in progress would be put out to tender so that "there would be no more state spending".
I watch in interest. His vice President could be a concern. He needs her to threaten the establishment. There are a lot of vested interests. He needs protection.
From the BBC
His choice of Victoria Villarruel as his vice-presidential running mate shocked human rights campaigners in the country, in which 30,000 people were killed or forcibly disappeared under military rule from 1976 to 1983.
Ms Villarruel, who comes from a military family, has defended officers convicted of crimes against humanity and proposed dismantling a museum which commemorates victims of Argentina's military junta.
I also note also that China is Argentina's main trading partner. I wonder what they are thinking? An opportunity?
You are probably right iFocus but I am hoping for some good. When I was much younger I read about South America extensively, historical through to modern times and always followed the politics the place fascinated me also in 87 / 88 travelled overland most of the continent.
The election of Milei a political novice and outsider won't solve the problems, pretty safe bet one way or another things will go downhill from here, still will be very happy to be wrong but the VP just proves a point IMHO.
The thing that sinks these guys is you have to do really unpopular things before you can right the economy and structure. He is a populist though and they don't usually have a good ending when the popularity fades.
You can count on it. It's already started. The thing that sinks these guys is you have to do really unpopular things before you can right the economy and structure.
I haven't followed this guy but will be interesting to see if he gets the "Trump treatment".
