May 2022 Stock Competition Entries!

I can't remember who pointed it out today ;) but there was a few good movers today. @Tropico was up 9.32% today but all eyes were on the top two flyers :xyxthumbs.
@tech/a lost his lead in the Comp today as @greggles (up 18.92% today) slipped past him and into 1st Place with @Dona Ferentes who had a great day (up 27.66%) is hot on his heels now in 2nd Place. Very Close!

I thought it definitely deserved a chart.

Few changes at the top today - @Dona Ferentes moves up into 1st Place while @greggles now sits in 2nd Place, still a tight fight between the two of them :xyxthumbs.
The fall in @tech/a's JXT today wasn't good (down18.37%) ? but it helped @Telamelo move into 3rd Place after a good day today.

After a good Coconut tree climbing exhibition yesterday ?@Tropico ?had a bit of a slip today, fell and broke a couple of his coconuts?.
@finicky had a great day today (up 19.23%) :xyxthumbs which has given @Faramir a clear message to continue his dusting duties?.

One day, I might the chart upside. Maybe one day?
yes , you might , but mine should have still been ( barely ) green , so mine is very likely to slide more

if you climb the ladder you better tell me where you left the broom , thanks

the slide is not a BAD thing , i will just have an opportunity to buy more sooner than expected

First of all I'm sorry to let you all know that one of our members in the Monthly Tipping Competition last year, @apoenzyme (Allan) passed away on Wednesday.
He only had 7 selections last year and all of them (100%) made it into positive territory :xyxthumbs. Allan was my brother, he always loved to bring this up whenever we had a beer or two, he's missed already. RIP
Thanks @Joe Blow for the website, it helps to keep me busy at this time.

OK .... The end of the 1st Week in the May Monthly Tipping Comp. What a terrible start to the month, so much red in the table below, the ASF Team is under performing the XAO this week for sure.

@Dona Ferentes AR1 26.83% had a great day on Thursday to grab the lead and has hung on today to be in 1st Place:xyxthumbs.
Two good days (Thu/Fri) for @tech/a JXT 21.05% sent him into 2nd Place:xyxthumbs just ahead of @frugal.rock STK 18.84% who also had two good days (Thu/Fri) now in 3rd Place:xyxthumbs.
@greggles OZM 13.33% in 4th Place is not too far behind. Plenty of volatility around and I think the leaders of the pack have done well this week.

The visual journey of all entries below and also all good movers in the table (Weekly & Daily) are highlighted in yellow. Have a nice weekend Folks:).

@thmpl has had a good journey of late coming from near last to be sitting in 9th Place now :xyxthumbs. The volatility continues for @Tropico with a 10.96% rise today. @tech/a continues to slide.

The problem is fixed priced contracts
Massive amounts of business was secured last year . Materials have gone crazy Steel almost 80% Timber similarly. You have to pay it or you don’t get product

On top of that Subbie’s are demanding a whole lot more and the mines are taking workers with massive wage offers. We ( Builders) are paying up to $10 an hr more to keep staff if you don’t they will be poached from a finite work force.

Trades also leaving home states and domestic projects to do high paying insurance work with the East Coast Floods

Just the beginning hold on to your Super!!!

End of Week 3 in the May Monthly Tipping Comp. This week, the XAO was up 1.14% whilst the ASF Team's average was up 5%, a big thanks to @Dona Ferentes :xyxthumbs.

@Dona Ferentes AR1 102.44% put the foot on the accelerator this week (up 74.47%) and has a commanding lead over the rest of the field, so keeps 1st Place easily:xyxthumbs.
@greggles OZM 36.67% sits in 2nd Place but will have a hard task to catch the leader but, it's not impossible:xyxthumbs.
@frugal.rock STK 15.94% sits in 3rd Place but definitely won't give up chasing the first 2, so don't count STK out of making a run in the last week and a bit:xyxthumbs.
@tech/a JXT 5.26% had a good day yesterday (up 14.29%) maybe his run is not over!

Below is the visual journey of all entries this month so far along with the highlighted good movers for the Week and each Day.

Enjoy your weekend folks :).
