Congratulations to both lesm and Nicks, especially lesm who has finished up this month with the largest monthly return ever achieved in the stock tipping competition. Riding the crest of the AUM wave, lesm finished June with a 620% return! Extraordinary stuff! Well done lesm! Nicks came in second with a respectable return of 19.23% with his selection SRK. Congrats!

Could both of you gentlemen please send me a PM regarding your prizes.

Overall, June was still a very negative month for the competition with 39 of the 54 entrants ending the month in negative territory. Things are looking up for July though so lets hope we see some better results next month.

You see the funny thing is, that I know very little about the stock market or trading and I seem to do alright out of these stock comps. I also note that it is the very same peole that throw up all this humbo jumbo, plenty of technical talk and formulas and try to impress other memebers that do very poorly.

Hmmm, do you really need that much garble to win a comp, or is it just luck

Just look at some of the members around the bottom and see if you can pick the members out that I am refering too...

There is no harm in learning more, but sometimes knowing too much is a hinderance too :
