Just down at Bells Rapids eating my lunch and the river now has a set of factory amount of water flowing through now... The Avon descent should be a good one this year after all.So after a disappointing day with little to no rain, this evening really turned i ton.
Thunderstorms and rain, real rain and to date the gauge says nearly 28 mm.
@wayneL If the next few days BOM forecasts are near the mark then there should be plenty of white water coming down the Avon.Just down at Bells Rapids eating my lunch and the river now has a set of factory amount of water flowing through now... So much so, that the current fencing job I'm on makes it hard to get going.
About 4/5ths of the post holes will be rock and as such rain and rock dust don't mix too well, just turns to slop and the posts will take forever to settle.
Gives time to do a bit indoors and take it easy.
Post drivers aplenty.Ever used a post driver? I had one in Qld on the back of 35hp Kubota on this 237 acre property we had. It was the Duck Nuts

Great, Muggins here is officiating at Woorooloo three day event. Looks like I'll be getting wet.Looking at the BOM forecast for the next 3 days and taking into account that they have looked out of the window and stuck a wet finger outside to test the atmosphere it looks like about 80-odd mil may land on us.
If this is the case, then little will be achieved outdoors.
7mm so far with the promise of a lot more. Are you at the prison farm?Great, Muggins here is officiating at Woorooloo three day event. Looks like I'll be getting wet.
