Very hard to summarise the overall situation in the Middle East. This "Honest Government AD" is worth checking out in that context.
I thought the introduction was well on point.

 
I've been to Israel a couple of times (gratuitous travel photo below). Being asked 'do you have any arms' when walking into a cafe in Jerusalem took my wife by surprise. She said, 'of course' and raised up her hands - I have arms... Only really experienced the same thing in South Africa where you check in your pistols in at the front door of a pub like they're a jacket or coat.

It seems like Israel is preparing for total war at the moment, something they've always assumed would happen at some stage.



Slightly built and more than slightly uneasy, Rafael Alkobi picks up the handgun, clicks in a magazine and points it down the range towards human-shaped targets.

“I have never held a pistol before and I have never wanted one,” he confides, shyly, as he emerges from his weapons training session. “But because of the situation now in Israel, I don’t feel I have a choice.”

Alkobi was one of eight prospective gun owners being put through his paces by an instructor at a Jerusalem shooting range this week, the maximum the venue can fit in one session.

Outside, crowds of others milled, inspecting pistols and tactical gear as they waited their turn to register for a civilian weapons licence.

Gun sales in Israel have been soaring since the Hamas massacre of October 7, fuelled by a sudden breakthrough in a years-long effort by the far-right figures now in government to relax the country’s strict gun laws.

Hamas don't look like Palestinians to me. Not sure how this little terrorist enclave has been allowed to exist for so long.
 
Jews hunted in dagestan. This isn't fact checked. But interesting that we seem to be going down the same path as WW2


 
Some stupidity. Black Israelites wanted to join the march. Pro Palestinians saw the word "Hebrew" and started a fight.

Big deal. tell that to all the women and children being slaughtered by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.

If Israel was so clever and only targeting Hamas operatives, how come the death toll says otherwise?

Netanyahu is a self-righteous grub, who has the USA in his pocket.

If anyone is critical of Israel, out comes the "anti-semitic" card.

It is not even a war. Israel occupies Gaza.
 

Why do you hate Jews?
 
It is pretty nasty.
I just hope that once this is over some good comes out of it.
