Generational Shift

There was no reset or supra national agenda before this generation,
just basic anti-communism and a bit of world capitalism fighting the old left..but Ford or GM were still benefiting the US, and most of the profits of capitalism was reinvested locally.the Left was still pretending to protect workers..
No more...
No surprise if nowadays youth can not believe in politics when voting is at best doubtful,if not rigged. And both left and right parties fight for foreign interests (migrants/world capitalism/cronysm )

Can I ask one Question ?

Do you have any Grand Children you spend time with ?

bux
On that topic, the oldest of the Millennials are beginning to become grandparents.

Those Millennials born in 1998 turn 42 this year, so a growing number of them are now becoming grand parents.

Probs not many, they were too busy getting high and f$&king.

My boomer English teacher actually taught a semester unit on the 60's called "Sex, Drugs & Rock-n-Roll".

He basically boasted the whole about it.
lived through it , the rock and roll was interesting ( in places ) , and my distracted peers left plenty of opportunities elsewhere , especially if you avoided the corrupting education system

BTW those hippies saved the West from an overly extended and pointless war in Vietnam , but almost nobody learned from that ( Iraq , Afghanistan as examples )

I'm Gen X, but missed out on logarithm tables.
I'm guessing that your maths isn't that bad? (born 1998 now 42 ?...?)

Perhaps the wording needs a tweak...??

I see Millennials can spell at least.
Gen Z can't, even with spell check ?...OR, is it that they all have seen "Gone With the Wind" and apply that famous attitude to al they do, or don't do, more to the point.

Sorry, Millennials are those that turned 18 in 1998, not born in 1998.

So yeah they are 42 this year, so are entering the grand parent age.

You are showing your age, these are no more ..
now we have private eco village in tiny houses for DV victims or immigrants, paid by your taxes
i sure as hell wouldn't call the ones i visited as 'eco villages ' sure the houses were basic ( even 6 year olds nearly demolish them ) nice little cul-de-sacs with a park , so an easy exit from the law

A couple of weeks back, I saw an article referencing that currently we may be seeing a "generational opportunity" to be entering cryptocurrency.

It's also becoming apparent that most governments aren't too interested in abolishing crypto, they just want their piece of the pie, and some control through legislation.

I've mused that the pollies children probably have crypto...

Not promoting or condoning crypto here, just considering it from a generational shift perspective...?

Theoretically.
What do you mean?

I already know of at least two of girls I went to high school with in 1999 that are grandmothers, they are 40 and 41 this year, so we are definitely entering the time where more and more millennials are becoming grand parents, not just theoretically?

My suspicion is that they tolerate it for the great benefit to them of the blockchain... and of course taxability.
