RXM GAPPED UP + 61.68% on the open ?
I only allowed for a 10 % GAP on the open (Previous High)
I believe that mr Skate, as i do use the actual open price in the backtests.Re Back-Testing
I believe they should be based on the Buying price and Not last nights Closing price
The reason being is that the lion share of most daily gains are made on the OPEN
How did your back-testing systems work with RXM today ?

You do point to a real issue: my broker limits the buy on order price to a small percentage above last close, and as such i often miss on gap up.
I did try to code this, but not easy: you can cancel purchase of packets with SP gapping up more than x% above last close
But you need to ensure that this buy is not replaced by another entry
Code getting a bit tricky in amibroker..
My deductions were explained in the Sets of Charts I posted over the week-end which you have not acknowledgedWhile you're here , Capt'n , could you please expand a bit on what drew your attention to the chart , yesterday ?
Thanks in advance , on behalf of the crew .

Signal Recording and Weekly Updates
Each generated signal will be posted immediately after the daily market close.
Please note
Last Friday, a "Lime Buy Signal" was generated for (ASX:CSL), and the stock was purchased during the pre-auction. However, at the end of trading today, CSL failed to follow through on the initial move. As a result, a "Fuchsia Sell Signal" has now been triggered, and the position will be closed out tomorrow.

Skate.
Surely I'm not the only one that thinks there's too many buy/sell signals on the charts using that indicator. Crazy stuff.
MACD as the base indicator is not good enough. C'mon we can do better.
The ol'Ducati volatility indicator could assist in this exercise.
I was offered a business proposition many years ago. He had flown half way across Australia for the meeting (I refused his offer, but that's not the point of this post) I asked him if he would tell me his life story. (I was genuinely very interested) He was from humble beginnings migrating to Australia after WW2.
What was the takeaway from his story
In the conversation he remarked " Australians don't appreciate their freedom"
