In the end it's a book keeping case and in the end the jury has to find the documents are falsified AND that it is a conspiracy to affect the election. Trump may win.

However everyone pretty much agrees his lawyers are pretty useless. The good ones don't want to work for him.

I am amazed he is still in the race. How the hell did he turn it around. I honestly think all these court cases gave him constant national exposure that kept everyone talking about him. I'm still not convinced he will win, but now I'm entertaining the idea.

Agree that no one wants to work with him. There is no upside. He probably doesn't pay them either. But Trump Is pro Israel. So I'm wondering if media and other organisations will turn onside.

It's a lot less clear who will win this thing.

What is happening with Nikki Haley supporters now that she has dropped out of the Presidential race ? Well they are still voting for her in the Primaries. Around 20% of registered Republican voters are still recording their support for Nikki Haley.

These voters don't even need to vote for Biden; if they refuse to vote for Donald Trump his votes fall.

In late April, staffers at Joe Biden’s headquarters fixated on votes for Nikki Haley rolling in during the Pennsylvania primary, as she pulled 20 to 25 percent support in the largely upscale, suburban collar counties around Philadelphia.

Most remarkable: Haley had dropped out more than six weeks earlier.
Within a day, the Biden campaign dropped an additional six-figure TV and digital ad buy in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, explicitly targeting Haley voters with an ad featuring former President Donald Trump bad-mouthing his former U.N. ambassador and her supporters.

The ads are part of a much larger — and mostly behind-the-scenes — strategy to reel in anti-Trump Republicans, who continue to show up everywhere from Arizona to Wisconsin. The Biden campaign views Haley voters as a core part of its coalition this fall, especially as polls show some erosion among traditional Democratic groups such as young voters. Top campaign officials continue to court major Haley donors and possible anti-Trump GOP endorsers while honing their messages for bringing in Haley voters.

He’s been found liable for committing sexual abuse. He’s bragged about grabbing women by the you-know-what. He’s in the middle of a court case over paying hush money to a pr0n star with whom he allegedly cheated on his wife — the third woman he’s married. And he’s the de facto leader of American evangelicalism.

How could Christians embrace a leader who has seemingly treated half the “thou shalt nots” in the Bible as a challenge? The typical answer is that it’s a matter of political convenience. Donald Trump may not be a choir boy, the conventional wisdom suggests, but he offers Christians wins on socially conservative policies, and he appointed Supreme Court justices who delivered for evangelicals by overturning Roe v. Wade.

But anyone who’s so much as set foot in an evangelical church over the last eight years knows that Christians don’t describe Trump as an unfortunate necessity, but a literal God-send. Political convenience alone doesn’t explain that.

Sex might.

According to Samuel L. Perry, a sociologist of religion who has written several books on conservative Christianity including Addicted to Lust: Pornography in the Lives of Conservative Protestants, Trump’s sinful behavior may actually reinforce his support among at least some evangelicals.

Trump’s sexual misdeeds may break religious doctrine, Perry says, but they also affirm his masculinity — at least in the evangelical view. They demonstrate that Trump is a virile, red-blooded man, afflicted by God — like all “real men” — with lust. Not just lust for sex, Perry says, but for power. And much like Biblical warriors who themselves struggled with sexual temptation, Trump can wield that power to lead the faithful to glory.

In an interview for POLITICO Magazine, Perry spoke about how evangelical ideas about masculinity, pornography and sexuality help explain the most unusual but politically potent alliance in modern politics.

The more he is in the news cycle, the more the trolls are going to have a field day pumping trump. Something the democrats haven't learned in over a decade.
You can type pages of "evidence", but if it can be neutered with a few sentences then you haven't got something anyone cares much about.

No one gives a sht about Skanky Daniels. Or any of these court cases because they look manufactured. It needs to be a clear breach. Not this lawfare they are hitting him with. It looks worse for the democrats.

Maybe drumming up his followers with bald faced lies about stolen elections and sicing them onto Congress to stop the counting of electoral votes. ?
How about watching the invasion of Congress on TV for 2hours and refusing to order the National Guard to take action ?

Wouldn't it just be simpler for Trump to claim total and complete immunity from any charge by right of having been President ? Far easier than having to pick through all this "evidence" malarky and finding lawyers and the right judge.

If he could just kick that argument off he could either

1) Get himself a free pass for anything he did/does/or might want to do
2) Or just tie cases up long enough so he can get back in power and take care of all these pests once and for all.

He and Trump tried to avoid paying until after the election, but Cohen finally sent Daniels’ attorney $130,000 just days before the election, when Daniels threatened to go public with the story. Cohen testified that he would never have made that payment without Trump’s explicit approval, “because everything required Mr Trump’s sign-off and on top of that, I wanted the money back”.

Cohen also went into specific detail about how he was finally paid back by Trump, with a little extra thrown in to make him happy.
