Yes the big plus to come out of the game was, no one swore at them or called them nasty names, so sports psychologists say the team should holding up well. LolYes, they are paid so much, win or lose it doesn't really matter.
have lost interest in the circus / pantomime to a large extent. as you say, the money drives it.... ditto the football codes.Yes, they are paid so much, win or lose it doesn't really matter.
David Warner wants to hold umpires accountable for their mistakes.
take a chill pill , pal.
And Netherlands beat South Africa, in a shortened match due to rain but still. Two heavy defeats in two games, will struggle to beat Netherlands.

Yes, inconsistency is his problem. Great against lesser teams, but when it comes to the crunch ?Maxi doing maxi things, great when it all comes together, but probably won't do much over next four games.
Maxis bowling has been crucial in a few games.Yes, inconsistency is his problem. Great against lesser teams, but when it comes to the crunch ?
The "shock and awe" factor keeps him in the team, and it's disappointing that people are saying Marnus should be dropped when Head comes back when Marnie is a consistent contributor.
Marnus is more consistent than say Stoinis and his leggies might be useful too. So I would have both Head and Marnus and drop either Stoinis or Marsh.Maxis bowling has been crucial in a few games.
it is well suited to Indian pitches.
Marnus versus Trav - both have their strong points, but I think Smith already plays the role that Marnus would have, and does it better.

The only time marnus has bowled in recent times in an ODiI (v Pakistan) he got pummelled.Marnus is more consistent than say Stoinis and his leggies might be useful too. So I would have both Head and Marnus and drop either Stoinis or Marsh.
Well as long as we keep winning it doesn't really matter who does it.The only time marnus has bowled in recent times in an ODiI (v Pakistan) he got pummelled.
Has neither the control not variation required at this level.
Stoinis has been pretty good with a his bowling before he was injured. They opened with him in Seth Efrica with some success.
His strike rate is significantly higher than Marnus as a batsmen, can be explosive.
Marsh was extremely successful in the recent series against both India and SA, and his bowling is fa more reliable.

Sri Lanka has been doing it tough. Good luck to them. The Sri Lankans have just bowled out the Poms for 156 in 33 overs.
If the the Lankans win this, then its pretty much over for Englands defc of the world cup.

The last WC winners, England, lose to India last night are now out of contention to progress beyond the initial round robin format.
Kinda puzzling in that i thought their bazball would just go to the next level and take all before it.
Funny game that cricket.
Mick
And an Australian to Boot!.I don't believe Baz is coaching this team ?
Someone called Matthew Mott I believe.
His job must be on the line now.
Maybe if T.Head keeps going the way he is he may get the job.Meanwhile, here in OZ, Cameron Bancroft is doing his best to be the go to man to replace Warner when he retires this summer.
he was the highest scorer in last years shield series.
Here sre his latest FC scores. Two centuries in his four shield appearances this year, averaging 94.

Some of his rivals have not exactly set the house on fire.
Will Pucovski is too brittle to be considered again.
Joe Burns, one century and fifty averaging 45.
Daniel Hughes, sold couple of fifties, but some failures and averages 27.
Travis Dean, 2 fifties, avergaing 36.
Marcus harris has not got past 11 for the season.
