Had the same problem last night (around 10pm) - no chart showing for the SPI futures. Today I'm not seeing the change in the SPI futures displayed in Webtrader either...

I can get a delayed chart from futuresource, so it looks like it's IB

With IB, you do get the contracts you pay for. The contract goes out to IB. With dividends, they are paid to IB and IB credits my account. But what about with other things like subscribing to share offers? Does IB let me do any of that?

You can participate in all the corporate actions if you are eligible. Best thing to do is send a ticket to the CS desk - and if it's a tight deadline, call the desk to confirm the request. We will the instruct on your behalf.

In regards to the above form required as part of applying for a new IB account. Did you put your tax file number on line 7 of the form?
It says "optional" next to the box. What happens if you do not enter it?

I am unable to see my current portfolio value. It use to work. This also occurred yesterday. I can see current Forex prices. So there is a connection to IB.
I am using the IB application that installs on the computer. It is updated to the latest.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Steve, have a question for you(if you are still around),
Did a search on the IB website, and it says I can do an intermarket futures spread on TWS. Followed the instructions to try and do a spread over the NQ/ES with a 2:1 ratio, and when I get the quote up in TWS, the exchange column says that it's going to try and route it through SMART, shouldn't it be going through GLOBEX? I also tried checking the margin requirements for the spread and I wasn't able to do so- when I right clicked over the order, it wouldn't let me check the margin. If I have got the spread set up correctly and execute it as the one order, will TWS automatically margin it at the spread rate shown on the CME website, or will it just use the entire amount for the 3 seperate contracts as the margin for the trade?
Or would it be better for me to just leg into the spread and not worry about trying to execute it as one order?

In regards to my post above and problems that may possibly be encountered. Not exactly to do with simulated orders but there was a recent incident where a trader double clicked orders which caused a large loss.

Is anyone else having problems connecting to BOTH the webtrader (my simulated account) and Trader Workstation software (personal)? Haven't been able to connect to it since early Sat.

Is it a weekly thing or just this weekend? I didn't get any info relating to it, either as a single event or it is the norm.
In fact, I wondered why it is closed over the weekend? I would still want to place orders over the weekend.
