Just wondering about his "mates" in the SAS who will be watching their backs when in the next conflict. Being at war is not and never has been the perfect storm. What happens there usually stays there.

Yes I think there will be a lot more requests for written orders and instructions, going forward and a lot more questioning of operations.

Hmmm Didn't think that a Corporal would have that much say when it came to decision making. Would have thought a Sgt at least and perhaps an junior Officer.

Rescuers have scoured the seas off Greece following a shipwreck that killed at least 78 migrants, as hopes of survivors dwindled and fears grew that hundreds more, including children, may have drowned inside the crowded vessel's hold.

Reports suggested between 400 and 750 people had packed the fishing boat that capsized and sank early on Wednesday morning (local time) in deep waters about 80 kilometres from the southern coastal town of Pylos.

Greek authorities said 104 survivors had been brought ashore.

I guess Mr Tringle this being a mis-adventure at sea the public purse will cough up, and probably, most unfortunately, those down in the depths see daylight again.
A very sad, but I feel very stupid situation.
The Titanic is a grave site and as such should be left in peace.

According to multiple reports this "submarine" used cheap consumer grade electronics, literally a video game controller, in its key systems.

Regardless of what caused the failure, that says an awful lot about the approach taken to its design and construction and not in a good way. :2twocents

Saw the toggle thingy on the TV news and being thrown aside because it was a dud and that was when it was above water.
