Sounds like the teaching kids at school not to be bullies and be nice, isn't too successful, gangsters are getting younger.
19 to 21 year old's, they will probably be sent to the naughty corner.

Police say a man was kidnapped at gunpoint before being tortured for six days in Sydney's south-west until tactical officers rescued him last night.
The man, 26, was allegedly assaulted and had some of his teeth "forcibly removed" at a home in Belmore by a criminal group intending to extort him or his associates.

Six men, aged 19 to 21, have now been charged with offences including aggravated break and enter, causing grievous bodily harm and detain in company with intent to ransom.

We are so yesterday, they didn't mean it, they just had a hard childhood. ?

Yep we really are developing a caring and sharing world, what a hoot, I grew up in some bloody rough places and new some really violent people.
None would be into that at 19-21.
They were too busy chasing girls, hotting up cars and bikes, drinking and fighting.
Abducting, torturing and extorting never came up in conversation.:xyxthumbs

There is a powerful gang mentality in that area of Sydney, been a Lot of execution type deaths.

Drive by shootings were happening regularly at one stage, mainly drug related and drawn along racial lines.

A number of bystanders have been killed when they missed who they were aiming at. One guy was driving his delivery truck along a suburban link road and got hit in the head and died

Scary place to live IMO

The Department of Justice has launched an inquiry into the recent social media postings of what appear to be a large number of US intelligence documents. The probe takes place as further records that span everything from US help for Ukraine to details about important US allies like Israel surface on Friday, increasing the ramifications of the already concerning leaks. Following social media posts of what appeared to be sensitive information on the war in Ukraine, the Pentagon announced on Thursday that it was investigating the situation.

US President Biden said he is "confident" a deal can be reached with Republicans leaders to avert a potentially catastrophic US debt default, which could come as early as June 1.

Biden arrives Thursday in Hiroshima, Japan and will meet leaders from the rest of the G7 club – Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan.

However, visits next week to Papua New Guinea and to a Sydney meeting of the Quad, comprising Australia, India, Japan and the US, were cancelled so that Biden can rush back home Sunday and negotiate with Republican opponents on the debt crisis.
