Is there any such software or application that has live prices and chart movement of the stock market just like on the tv shows and movies how they have all there charts and live prices up?

Yes...

Many shapes sizes and colors...it's an industry in itself.

Well, start with your broker....almost all electronic brokers. That means banks like Westpac, large global broker like Interactive Brokers...

Generally with live intraday data though, you have to pay.

yeah true, is it generally pricey or not too much? I have an online brokerage account with comsec and cant seem to find the live intraday data

I think you may have to apply to use WebIress for Australian banking brokers....some of the equity guys here could tell you that....

Usually data cost are anywhere from 25 to $2000 per month depending on what you want to see...

Certainly shows Intraday, but probably time-delayed.
For real-time live data, the ASX charges a fee of about $40/month, which most brokers will pass on to you, unless you can get a discount or waiver by qualifying as a frequent trader.
