This is absolute nonsense. Pick up any Bible and at the back there are always maps representing various periods in biblical times, based on non-biased scholarship and archaeological evidence.

As to the ethnicity of the Jewish people, vis a vis Ashkenazi, Sephardic and other groups is a subjective ongoing research, indeed as is the ethnic origin of the Arabic Palestinians.

It's far more complicated than some binary division.

Let's use England as a classic example seeing as you mentioned it. There are no "The Jews". Even here in Perth, there is a noted Messianic Jewish congregation. Outside of that, there are all sorts of Jews, ranging from secular to Hasidic.

Curiously, the same happens in every religion. Christianity contains numerous sects, from Catholic, Calvin, Evangelist, Charismatic, Brethren, Mennonite, etc... each with their own particular doctrine.
