Working in UK/London

Has anyone work in UK/London on a working holiday visa recently? What is the market like at the moment and please share your experiences.

Ive done it in the past, great experience, and I never ever once came across a Antipodean that couldnt find work.

Smells like recession brewing though, so dont know what sort of effect that will have on the Jobs market. Im sure Wayne could shed some light, he has his finger on the pulse
