Where to after resources ?

Ok! Everyone seems to be pretty happy with the way the market is going at present.
Im just looking for opinion's on what people think will happen when the china economy slows, what sector / sectors will take over when resources arent so hot anymore ?
Is there a typical cycle thing going on here ?
I have read a few books and some "no names" mainly because i cant remember, THINK one was called "The next great bubble boom" predicting the next hot sector to be technology, any thoughts on this ?
While we / I am on the subject of technology, is there anyone out there that has a particular techno stock that they think may be hot in the future.
Cheers all. "Green to Beat Mundine"

i reckon aged care, one for the future

but commodites booms normally last for 15-23yrs, this one only 5 yrs into
and it helps that this one is fueled by 2.3billion people
so dont be in too much of a hurry 2 get out

Aged care for sure....but that's in about 15 years.

I agree that the extra 2.5 billion people joining the commodities market has to make enough of an impact to last at least another 5 years :) Then they will all need brand new technology as their financial situation improves ;)

Resourses havent even got moving.
This is the correction we had to have.
Aged care sure but at a snails pace compared to the Resourse sector.

Agreed with tech. In my opinion this is only the start of the resources bull and in 15 years time kids then in primary school will laugh at the idea that petrol was ever as cheap as $2 a litre. :2twocents

Geez I think I'll be retired by the time that comes so in the words of Norman May its GOLD,GOLD,GOLD.

agricultural commodities are next part of the commodities cycle...sugar, coffee, soybeans, grain etc

oil / gas perform well at all stages of the commodities cycle too - see the thread "commodity cycles" in commodities section
