Victorian Politics

I posted this video in another thread, but seeing as this happened in Victoria, I think it is relevant here.

The Victorian Liberal Hierarchy must think that John Pessutto is going to come secodn best in the Moira Deeming defamation suite.
It seems what was a quiet bit of backroom manoeuvering has become a more open revolt.

Never get in the way of a politician and his/her/its/their ambitions.

Spitting in the face of all the kids who have suffered mental illness because of this demon's tyranny.

The scary part is that the Victorian Government is planning on borrowing even more money.

So does the Fed bail these idiots out?
Public service needs to be cut to the bone. Anyone on ridiculous salaries in public service need to be axed.

Office Rates.
While most other state capital cities have reverted to marginally above the mean for the state, Melboune just keeps going up.
Has implications for state Government, Local Melbourne City Council, and Victorian CP market.

Edited to add the following.
perhaps its because so many Victorians are now white collar workers and working from home.

As if the Victorian Liberals did not have enough difficulty in life , it seems another own goal will cause more disruption in the leadership.
Moira Deeming has won her defamation case against John Pesutto in the supreme court.
His tenure as leader hangs by a very thin thread.

According to The evil Murdoch press , the main contenders for his job are
frontbenchers Brad Battin, James Newbury and Sam Groth.

Pessuto is a loser, the Deeming affair a grave mistake IMO. He should be punted ASAP.

Before getting tainted by Politics, the bloke was a Lawyer.
He should have put his lawyers hat on and said to himself, 'how will all this look in a court".
Various people said when the last bloke got rolled, that Pesutto was a smart bloke, knew his stuff, good manager blah blah.
Turns out he was just like all the rest.

Pesutto just looks good for taking her on.
If they roll him there will be negative consequences. She has her money, she should go away> Newscorp hate Pesutto which is why he is so popular.

Other than fringe politics and controversy what is it Moira Deeming brings in for the Liberals?

That's exactly the issue at the moment, while Australia goes around the S bend, we busily debate the which is the best flushing agent. Lol

Geez Knobby, how do you arrive at that?
What did he take her on over?
A fake campaign to pretend she was a Nazi?
He lost the goddam case 5 nil on all counts!
The bloke got spooked by Andrews and his cohorts and overeacted, then compounded the issue by pretending he was Christopher Steele and producing his own Dossier that had more holes than a collander.
The problem is entirely of his own making.
Showed poor judgement, and his performance in court was pathetic.
The bloke was a lawyer, but still managaed to get castigated by the presiding judge.
As for Pesutto being so popular, do have anything to back that up with?
At the last Resolve poll on November 13th his approval rating was 30%, 1 point higher than Jacinta Allans 29%.

She disobeyed party rules, she has sued her leader. She is a tool of the Murdoch Press who advise her every step.
Can't stand her.
She should quit and join the Liberal Democrats who she has been best friends with. David Limbrick.
Alternatively, make her the leader and lose the next election.

The destabilising of Victorian Liberal leader, John Pessutto, is gatering pace.
Sam Groth, a first time Mp who is touted as one of the front runners for Pesutto's job, has quit the coalition Ministry.

First term. No experience. Loves himself, already said earlier this year he plans to be Premier.

Some of his fellow competitors for this job have quite a low opinion of him and believe he may have just shot himself in the foot.

It's not a Presidential system of leader choice.
