There's a V Bulliten one too, if you do a search.

Snake, try http://www.travellerspoint.com/. I've received some good info from individuals on that site. I haven't used it for a while but still answer the odd question on underwater photography and places I know well..

Tripadvisor.com is the busiest travel site I have found - I have planned a total DIY trip to Vietnam with it. If you are travelling to Bali then I would also use balitravelforum.com

Do not have any information on Maldvies and never visited it.

People of Chennai are compared to much transparent than people from Delhi or Mumbai. They do speak Good English at all levels.
