I was considering using the Pro Version of Tradingview for technical analysis of stocks I want to buy intraday? Has anyone used it for this?

I really like the tools on this platform but I want to be sure that I can get the trade Volume to show on the pro platform should I subscribe to it. Does anyone use this who could answer this?

Maybe there is some software similar to Trading View with the same kind of tools available. I'm trading Australian markets.

Any tips / for or against?

Thanks

Use their 30 day free trial to see if it gives all the information you need.

Sure, but I'm not putting my credit card details into anything I haven't investigated first.

For that reason my question still stands!

I just noticed Barcharts looks really good. Loads of free trading tools and data as well. Comparable to Tradingview.

Hi Dominover

I've been using Trading view now for over 2 years. It does all i want and more, but unfortunately i'm not a programmer so really can't utilise those special features. The aussie data is 15mins delayed but i'm sure you can pay for live.

I use to use Profitsource, and almost did what i do on trading view, but i find with updates on trading views makes my analytical approach more efficient. if you chart a lot, over 30 days should give you a good idea if it will serve its purposes. Their support is good from pro subscription upwards.

So far, Tradingview is the best value for money I can find. Incredibly so.
Thanks for the response. I'm thinking of subscribing to one of them and at this state it's probably going to be TRadingview.

Was wondering if I could ask you another question on TradingView.
I'm looking at the Pro+ subscription and I'm not sure if that includes live intraday data, Not Delayed.
Do you know if it includes live data Not Delayed?
I see the subscription prices at the bottom for live ASX data and I'm curious whether that is included in the Pro+ package or not.

Do you know?
Thanks

I've got the pro + and it is delayed.
You can add real time data feed for $18US per month
https://www.tradingview.com/gopro/?source=upgrade_info_popup&feature=show_options
Go to the bottom and expand available markets. Check with support if there are any other special requirements for live aussie feeds just in case.
I'm not a day trader so don't required live data feeds. Most of my set up are either before or after trading.

tradingview lists the brokers it can connect too. gotta search their website. from memory it is IG, Oanda, and FXCM. prob others too.

TradingView has not been reprogrammed to allow for our switch to Daylight Savings.
as at Qld 9.35am 3/10/22 TradingView is still showing all data as at 30/9/22.

Hafta use something else like Commsuc till the yanks update to this Aussie Anomalie.

OR do we have to change our individual time zone settings ???
Anyone know ??

Changed my UTC to Sydney Time - nothing happened.
Hit Save a few times - nothing happened.
Logged out, then Logged on - all OK Now.

Dunno if my above process did the trick - or maybe the Yanks took an hour to realise the prob.
Techonology eh!
