"LUCK is GREATER"

I must confess Captain .... my last "good day" was many many months ago!

I have been in damage control for some time, and currently trying to manipulate the best of a bad result for this year's tax return, lol

Not really funny ,,, but what do you do when you do badly??

You must laugh at your own silliness ..... and carry on as though you are still the genius you were 2 years ago!...
 
I Start every Voyage as a Short Term Thrilling Ocean Trial
When things don't work out as Planned I Just go to Plan B

Plan B is Medium Term Voyage
If That fails the I go to PLAN C

PLAN C is Long Term Voyage
By the Time I get to Long Term it is only 15% Tax
BUT
The BIG problem here is after Such a long Time you end up Falling in Love with the Bitch of a Sail and you can't cut her lose
You have read so many sales reports you are brain-washed into holding and even get sucked in to buying EVEN MORE
By this time you are in fact Brain Dead or at Sea we say Frozen at the Wheel

If I am making large Losses I gift them to my Grandchildren and leave them in my Bottom Drawer or Sell in May and Go Away

However, If I do Sell at a Loss I always keep a couple so that they are always on my Trading accounts so that they are thrown at me EVERYDAY as a Reminder

Indeed Captain!

My regret was more like forgetting to pack the spinnaker away correctly after rounding the bottom mark with a healthy lead, only to find it had been dragged overboard and wrapped around the centerboard!

Sometimes simply capsizing the boat and fixing the problem is the best option rather than hoping the sail will free itself miraculously, which invariably never happens, lol. ...

Fortunately we live to sail another race

I have watched ASO in the past as well.

I would never be presumptuous enough to advise anything, ...... but maybe ? there is potential for a little more movement higher??

Whatever you decide ... its always nice to see another punter make a profit!

That is disappointing DF. I've never been a fan of the "Ignore" function, but I know many others seem to use it.

Its easy for Forum posts to be misinterpreted, but even with genuine disagreements, open discussion or "private messaging" would seem better options to me. If in the end, no common ground can be found, simply agree to disagree and move on? Thats my worth for what its worth .... Cheers.
