It doesn't really matter as the world will keep going round the sun and it makes no difference whatsoever. I would like to come back in 100,000 years time and involve myself in interplanetary development. That will probably go all wrong but again the world will keep going round the sunNon, Je Ne Regrette Rien
Every felt like your life has been one big mistake ? Wrong job, wrong partner wrong everything ?
Thought provoking response here to a woman who at 70 felt deeply unhappy about the whole kit and kabadoole.
I’m 70 and so full of regret about my husband and career
....There are no perfect choices. Studies have shown that people can be roughly divided into two camps: people who settle for something in the ballpark and say, “That’ll do,” and perfectionists. Guess who turns out happiest? It’s not the perfectionists. The right choice is the choice we commit to. It’s the commitment that makes it right, not the object itself.

I’m 70 and so full of regret about my husband and career | Ask Philippa
I suspect you have a pattern of believing that whatever choice you make, it’s the wrong one, says Philippa Perry. You can work through this with a therapistwww.theguardian.com
The problem is that Politicians like Directors are making bigger efforts at pretending to care. The further problem is some of us end up believing them and a few are good at pretending they believe them pretending. |

Maybe a deliberate action made to look like a mistake, but if this action turned out not to be a mistake then it would be a mistake. If an action is deliberate it is not a mistake. There is no such thing as a deliberate mistake.
Yeah the brain must be the last thing to develop.Humans are deuterostomes, which means when we develop from an embryo our anus forms before any other opening.
This explains a lot, and confirms the suspicion that underformed people really are just assholes.
I've read this several times and have given up trying to understand it - that was my deliberate mistake.Maybe a deliberate action made to look like a mistake, but if this action turned out not to be a mistake then it would be a mistake.
If one continues to fire from the same position they will eventually have you in their sights. |
