Just found out that Qed from Commsec days and currently of The Bakery has sadly passed away after a short stint in hospital.

Thanks @farmerge. What is "The Bakery". I could make a guess but do not want to impinge on your grieving. Also what was Qed's main investing interest? I presume ASX stocks. I did sign up for that forum years ago but cannot even remember if I posted on it.

@Garpal Gumnut gg it was set up by Qed I believe, as he was the administrator.
I only got there because commsec no longer wanted us.
Not that sure how long it was operating for.
Qed used to do charting on a Saturday morning in the early days for those who were interested.

Kinda feel extraordinarily at a loss ... Qed posted on the Friday and we were advised as to his passing on Sunday. Bloody awful stuff.

Qed was an exceptional forex trader and chart interpreter, both candles and bars. Learnt from the lad. He once sent rcw1 a video version with charting, to spell out to rcw1 what our previous conversation was all about... and how he was right ha ha ha hha

Will miss him. Another trading stalwart gonesky.

I use to trade with Qed and another trader 2005-08 for a few years. I was extremely active back then. We were all charting geniuses because it was a rampant bull market. So everything pretty much went up.

I was always a bear and had charted the stocks collapsing to ridiculous prices but couldn't work out the trigger. Qed found an article on ARMS and said "maybe this". Sure was not that I understood it at the time.

All my ridiculous low pricing came to pass. Amazing time to trade. Qed was great to bounce ideas off.
