Just don't think about where it came from.
I laugh but we should cry

Biodigester, used under Mao in rural China before China moved to getting our gas instead of burning their own and pig **** decays...Yep they are full of it. Lol
Another ground breaking discovery, not. Lol
1 billion tonnes a year is 125 kg of coal for every living person on earth..one 10kg bag a month per every man, woman child on this planet..and wedestroy our country for "net zero " and pink elephants flying nextDuring that time in China...

Australia did import coal from China a decade or so ago. Not much but there was some.During that time in China...
Pity the article is paywalled, could you post the full version? Will the S.A Govt buy the battery story? If it is a long term solution and a sure fired winner, one would think so.
Elon Musk’s Tesla hangs up for-sale sign at SA virtual power plant
Sources said Tesla has proven the model and is now ready to hand the keys, but would continue to install and manage the batteries for the new owner.www.afr.com
No I'm on the phone on a ship, only the headline.Pity the article is paywalled, could you post the full version?
Is Elon selling because Australia is a Facist nation? No I'm on the phone on a ship, only the headline.
Someone really should be investigating all the storage options, but I suppose it's tough. How is SA off for pumped hydro sites? An interesting article highlighting what @Smurf1976 has been disvussing for a couple of years.
Solar farm output wastage tops 99pc in South Australia
Almost all the output from SA solar farms was cut off at one point last Sunday as owners sought to avoid losses as a flood of renewables sent prices plunging.www.afr.com
Yes it shows yet again reality overtaking ideology, the Govt when in opposition demanded that the gas turbine be run with 30% hydrogen and the boss of Snowy was pushed out of the job when he said it couldn't be done in the time frame. Not surprised..so diesel instead of coal, that is great, hard to be more wastefulSnowy seeks approval to burn six times more diesel than planned at Kurri Kurri gas generator
Snowy Hydro is seeking approval to run the Hunter Power Project entirely on diesel fuel in 2025, in a move that will send the hybrid gas plant’s year-one emissions soaring by up to 80%.reneweconomy.com.au

I wonder if he will be happy now he is proven right. Lol

Yep and a condition was it had to run hydrogen on commissioning, the ex head of Snowy had a blue with Bowen telling him there is no source for the Hydrogen, now the gas is an issue.Say what?
"The wait for gas comes down to the project’s heavily criticised location beyond the end of the Sydney-Newcastle trunkline, which has meant building a 21km lateral pipeline connection as well as an on-site storage pipeline to the new power plant.
And because it relies on these on site storages, its ability to provide gas back-up in say, the feared “dunkelflautes” (periods of low wind and solar output), would be limited by its inability to operate for than 10 hours before its reserves are exhausted."
