Perhaps he is planning for an early retirement, forced or voluntary.Albo's not quite reading the room on this one. Sure, he has earnt a lot of money as a senior politician and deserves to spend it, but when we're going through a 'housing crisis' etc etc crisis, it's just a bad look for the man who grew up in a housing commission unit with his single mum to be splurging. Doesn't he have a Lodge in Canberra and Kirribilli on Sydney Harbour already? Maybe he could have waited until he was out of power, after the next election.

At least Albo is selling his house in the inner city so that is one property freed up.I don't think Dutton would buy another one in the lead up to an election based on cost of living, interest rates, global boiling, and a housing crisis.
