Hey all just a quick question about commsec and offset trading.
It says if I buy shares now and sell some at T+1, I won't have to outlay money as the trades offset each other (assuming no profit or loss).

Just wondering how this works over the xmas break. So if I buy shares today, can I sell shares on Tuesday (the next business day) and still qualify, or would I have to sell them today to make sure.

Thanks

Settlement is on the right hand side
