A Rising BIG Buck Weakens the Price of most Commodities and is Therefore seen as a Good Move to Fight Inflation

I'll do the Charts in Black & White if you /yous prefer
I used to do it to block out the Daily Price Actions as I found them TOO NOISEY to make any Sensible Tack
It is a lot easier and Less stressful to just trust your Navigational Instruments and Sail Blind
( Less Colours to worry about)

But As Always DYOR

No Seaman worth his salt ever sets sail on a Friday​

(that's why I hoisted the GHY before Yesterdays close)​

It is considered very UNLUCKY and quite stupid when we in Australia have a whole Weeks ending to survey the All Important Closing performances of The Waring Nations of Europe and of the Great US of A

Crikey! My First Mate keeps asking me Why not to hoist GOLD NOW?

He is only 13 years old ( Grandson) and has no sense of History

He does not know that BHP Gold sold all their Gold to form NCM with NEM
There is no way BHP will ever get back into "GOLD" IMHO
Everybody I knew in those days said they would Rather Be Dead than Buy GOLD again

My favourite out of the 2 MAXI Diversified Miners is RIO and I don't think they are that STUPID
There are lots of BETTER Choices IMHO

BLIMEY! Even AUSTRALIA does not Buy GOLD as they did in the past
(Before my man KEATING)
AUSTRALIA Prefers to SELL IT!
as I would if I had any GOLD left

I sold half at one stage but for some inexplicable reason

I Think All is Lost Here (TMZ) and She is Only Good for a Tax Deduction
(Which is always worth Something)

At Sea we learn very quickly
Sometimes you Win , Sometimes you Lose

But Always protect your EGO
"She'll Be Right in the Long Term"
or
"It Was Always My Long Term Strategy"

Yes! Starting to look GOOD

But Nobody / Very few watch the after hours market
I only do it as I own a few

This is what I call "Holding the TIGER by the TAIL"
Look what happened in After Hours Trading on Friday Night before a Long Week End

Up ~30% in less than an hour

I don't know how the market will react to this news but you have heard it first from the Horses Mouth as a Proud owner

The lithium chart is on an edge. The run up from 2021 was unsustainable. This was 1500s tulip-like. You'd have to be a climate clown to think that that was going to continue to go parabolic. Fingers crossed that it holds around here and consolidates for a while to give us a clearer picture of long term fundamental pricing. I've got some AKE and IGO in the store but only 2% ish of the portfolio so not a biggie for me but jeepers creepers, these stocks could be decimated if Li goes back to 2020 levels. The supply/demand equation is so opaque it's confounding. I feel like I'm about to be knocked down by an incoming wave.
