I've been using the ANZ "Advanced Stock Filter" and whilst not overly complex it does what I need it to do.
At least it did until it broke some weeks ago and thus far my efforts to get ANZ to fix it have been ignored....
So I'm looking for something that allows user specified criteria. Eg I don't necessarily want to only find stocks with a dividend yield over 4%, I want to be able to specify that as 4.08% (random example) and I want to be able to have several criteria which must all be met (eg dividend yield after tax, EPS, P/E ratio etc).
Everything I can find online either can't apply several criteria on an AND basis (must meet this one AND this one AND that one), doesn't have the specific functions I'm looking for (notably dividend yield taking franking into account and dividend growth over 5 or 10 years seem to be missing from most) or is limited to pre-selected values that aren't the ones I want to use.
If I need to pay then I'll pay but since ANZ offers it free I'm guessing someone else probably does too. If I need to change brokers then I will - I sure don't trust that ANZ will fix this since their standard practice seems to be to completely ignore customer complaints about problems.
ANZ one looks like this. I did try the Morningstar site, signed up for the trial, but the same tool or anything that can do the same things doesn't seem to be there despite that being ANZ's apparent data source.
For those wanting to know what's wrong with it, using it comes up with:
I've tried it on 2 devices using different internet providers so I'm pretty sure the problem is at ANZ's end not mine. Sent an email but, of course, no response received and I very much doubt I'll get one based on past experience.
PS - the criteria I put in aren't what I actually use, just some randoms to show how it works.
