Singapore Airlines !!

Amazing, straight into a massive thunderstorm.

The media and 'experts' are trying (probably being paid handsomely) to put a global warming spin on this thing. Simply watch any interview today with an aviation expert and they mention this - with zero facts of science. I'm sorry did global warming tell the pilot where to fly? I've only seen one piece (think it was on CNA) where someone yet had the balls to question the pilot decision making. I've also already read a dozen different pieces taking swipes at people not wearing seatbelts. If a taxi driver drives in to a brick wall and I'm killed because my seatbelt was off... Is that my fault - yes, but c'mon. This will be investigated the same as it would be if there was a crash. Will be very interesting. Doubt this one is Boeings fault.

Great little exchange here.

When you hear the terms "aviation expert" or "consultant" lookout.
They are usually keyboard warrior wannabees.

The crew stuffed up on that flight. Heart attack medical diversion to BKK but they ignored the unplanned traps, in this case a dirty big thunderstorm.

That's the kind of basic stuff they try to set you up for on simulator checks, obviously their system doesn't load you up with one problem becoming three if you mismanage.
