Wow has this taken a beating lately!

Looks to have broken out of a micro-triangle today with RSI showing a positive divergence.

Thanks.

Well, i've been mighty disappointed with the shareprice movement of SGX over the last month. They've been getting dumped when gold fell under 900 and even as gold has recovered to above 900, Sino has barely moved.

Then they went into trading halt, and have been in trading halt since Tuesday. (in a halt while the gold price has been going up).

Anyway, i thought the capital raising was going to be a bad thing, but it looks somewhat positive since they are closing their forward contracts to take advantage of spot prices.

Does anyone have an opinion on how their shareprice will react after the trading halt is removed?
Cheers

Yeh, this one has been a no goer lately!

I traded a false breakout and got out instantly. Was hoping for a quick retracement swing.

No idea what the SP will do, but I will be watching closely, it's going to break one way or the other out of a symmetrical traingle by the looks of it.

Anybody know when it comes off it's trading halt?

can anyone explain the bounce today ? SGX bounced back big time on a red day where there were no announcements ...

It fell heavily in the previous trading session.....from the support level at ~$5, all the way to ~$3.90. and then up again to close at ~$4.35. It might be hitting its head a little at the $5 (now) resistance level ......

Any one know if there is any announcements to come?

SP has been under pressure but seems to be on the rise recently in the last week or so.

Are they producing any gold yet?

Should be expecting the quarterly report to June 08 shortly... in the next week or so ish?

looked at their previous report to March 08...

And yes... they are producing...

looks like a double top has formed on this one lately... i doubt that can really be good .... what do you guys think ?

That double top above was the PERFECT short example! Hindsight of course.

It broke the previous top on decreasing volume and on a bearish RSI divergence. Too bad I missed it, though don't think I could short it through IB anyways.

Does anyone have any thoughts of the Q2 report out today ????
I'd be curious to hear your thoughts...

up 17% today !
apart from the the first 4% or so that all the gold miners rose -any thoughts on the rest...?

2009 PRODUCTION GUIDANCE AND PROJECT UPDATE

Sino Gold Limited (ASX:SGX, SEHK:1862) is pleased to provide initial production guidance for the 2009 calendar year as well as an update on the Company’s Jinfeng and White Mountain Gold Mines.

Following completion of the annual budgeting and planning process, the combined 2009 gold production for Jinfeng and White Mountain is planned to be in the range of 210,000 to 230,000 ounces of gold at a cash operating cost of less than US$400/ounce, a substantial increase in gold production over 2008.

This is about a 5o% increase on this year I think. Nice.

Why wouldn't a major take them over at these prices? MC to much? China block?

It appears that SGX is bouncing back up after a short retracement with volume consistently around the 1m mark. Possible buying opportunity. (DYOR)
