I know that on the ASX from 10 cents down to 0 stocks trade at 1/10 of a penny. In
Canada (where I live) 0 to 50 cents stocks trade in 1/2 cent increments and then over 50 cents in 1 penny increments.

So I was just watching the Symbol AIO on the ASX which trades at 1.63 and I noticed
trades going through at 1.632 and 1.637 , so my question is how is this possible, I was under the assumption all stock over 10 cents traded in 1/2 increments on the ASX?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Someone once explained how that is done on this forum. I will try to find the thread later in the day.

Those half pip levels are not available to retail traders. Bloody annoying and not a level playing field!

Can't explain that, but to answer the bolded bit, no, stocks between 10c to $2 trade at 1/2c increments, but above $2 they trade at 1c increments.
