You can't compare uranium with phosphate. The politics is different. There is no "four phosphate miner" policy and there are not state "no phosphate mines" policies. Phosphate miners will be judged on the quantity and quality of the phosphate first and the access and cost of production next.

Eventually they will and that was part of my point. It`s funny to watch, but there`s a lot of bandwagon jumping going on here. And, Ì`m comparing the bubble, not the product really. Compare it to any other bubble that`s come and gone. Damn, I hope the price keeps running to $2000 plus plus, but I`m not in Wonder Land.

however BHP has a history of long drawn out projects that take years to make a profit

once rock phosphate becomes popular i would expect BHP to take it's own sweet time to develop a ' tier one prospect '

PS i have a comfortable holding of BHP and don't foresee adding any more over $25 a share , now it has divested the petroleum arm , S32 and is looking to offload some QLD coal assets
