Hi all!

Hope you are keeping as well as can be expected in these unusual times!

I have been a Forex trader, on and off for about five years now, and get by reasonably well with price action trading, technical analysis and a general eye for movement and a 'gut feel' after seeing things for long enough. However thinking of returning to the ASX (I so I can utilize the daytime and be less glued to the screen. Forex is very fast moving and a bit too stressful I think. I have greater profit potential in 1-5 day holds on stocks and let them do their thing rather than grind on five-1 hour charts!Looking for stock recommendations, stock scanners or any advice that you are kind enough to give so I can get back into it. I am a full time trader by the way, living near Brisbane, Queensland. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum, parliament of @FourOwls

You might like to check out investing.com (forum sponsor) which has lots of live data feeds, technical signals etc, however, please note that live ASX stock data is not available due to the ASX charging for it.
Indexes, futures, commodities, crypto's, bonds etc are all live when in trading hours.
Live data can be obtained generally through some brokers, in some cases this can be free.
Caveat; buyer beware.

Free charting can be found on tradingview.com , but as above, the same thing applies to live stock data though.

The brokers usually have some form of live but static (need to refresh/reload) charting available, which may or may not suit your needs.

Have a hoot around the forum, if you (mo) poke around, there's plenty of good info ????
Plenty of stock and trading/ investing opinions, but no advice, it's against all the rules.

Good luck with your transition and trading.

Thanks frugal.rock!
I have done several trades in the last week, (COH, CSL and FMG) which were all good, but I only took intraday profits. I admit that the real returns is riding something for a few weeks, but definitely less stressful than forex which is a very constantly grinding type of trading (well maybe I have made it that way). I will look around and I will have to reconsider what broker I use as I use TD365 at the moment and Pepperstone, but I need to be able see volume characteristics too which TD365 don't offer I think.
I will keep Forex for small daily expenses and build my ASX shares into the larger longer term thing I think!
Cheers!
