qldfrog weekly Skate inspired system

as most, good last few days as PM surged
now back to 4.6% return since December but still beaten flat by the XJT
View attachment 184246
more good progress expected on Monday, he end of the critical sept october period not over so..will see
Always good t see serious nominal increase on the super..and much more on the overall portfolio
Green is xjt, red my total super.will have to fix that

Great week as many, my super paying for the partial move to cash during September, will be back fully early October
beaten by XJT index as expected but still 5.3% since December while heavy cash and net of fees and some taxes so I can live with that, even if I expect a bull market for at least a couple of years

Hahaha, was referring to stocks, not people...
Things like JRV, RTR etc

On a different note, am up 13.6% on WC8 after the captain mentioned it, but I can't thank him in person because he's got me on ignore again. Haha
😂
And for WC8
12.5% for me on same Captain alert.
Sadly i do not dare thanking him or interacting either.i have learnt my "lessons"
My real underperformance is my decision to exit (half) of super stock portfolio to let September go.
Statistically September is a clear down month on the asx and i thought why bother .well i got one of the few years where it does not go down....
So hum...
I still hang to my PM and carried on the much smaller play trades as well as outside super stocks but not reflected on my weekly graph.
Still not re engaging systems as i am flying to Europe in less than a fortnight and will be out of action mostly for nearly a month.
Not a disney trip, more family obligations so not much fun ahead...

Thanks to the usual culprits: Gold/silver and oil

Leaving this arvo among local qld storms, and away for 3 weeks, latest news cf minerals not good for super, will see when back:
A perfect time to fly 30h plus to the motherland:
Dodging yemen, lebanon syria, israel via qatar, usual Caliphate in Europe , Ukraine war next door with risk of vitrification to ensure a democrats win in the US, and new shitty government with Kirk major depression and associated fun in France with parliament house evacuation due to flooding..i can hardly wait...
Why can i not just visit Disney land with its cashless Florida paradise as some or get a cruise to the Keys..😉

@qldfrog reconnecting with family and friends definitely has its perks and can make up for any downsides.

Have a great time!

Skate.

bon voyage

if you are that keen to see relatives i would have sent you to mine

i can't guarantee they are nicer ( because i haven't seen/contacted them since 1972 )
but at least they are only in impoverished New Zealand ( so apart from some radical gunmen .. ) much quieter

good luck

Back in the land of honey and milk;
I survived the France trip: both the family and the fact that France is now ranked higher than Mexico in crime.
Italy was a very nice trip and back on the computer after a month of neglect share trading investing wise.
I did sell and buy a few parcel but;
The super did so so:
a very small increase in the last month but still, another ATH so can not complain

Overall returning 7.7% gain since december 2023
Have all a great week

Have all a great week
so was i correct on my assessment to avoid investment in the EU ( bearing in mind that France is now the backbone of the EU )

well as much as i was pleasantly surprised by trump win, this did not help my positions: heavy gold and silver and minerals:
down 0.6% on the week back to September level whereas the asx is enjoying the SP rises of FMG, RIO and BHP so excited by the prospect of China tariffs (note WTF)
Overall an ASX index would have been much better: XJT rising with a 13% gain in the last 11 months while my setup is up a miserly 7%.
Good figure but not in perspective of a pure index etf
