Postmodernism, Marxism & PC, modern ideological poison

I thought Muslims are the roots of all evil? One crazy Muslim is all it takes for the entire religion/race (Persians included) to have a bad name.

What commie rag did you read where White males doing anything that represents the White race... beside the good deeds of course.

Of course others are the root of all evil, you only have to see some recent posts in this very thread to see a narky, albeit effeminate anti white racist at work.:troll:

$1billion figure is speculation or possible western propaganda. We don't know his true net worth. Might have practiced what he preached. There was a twitter page dedicated to showing the ruling party living it up. But it was banned.

Systems need balance, where one side can't get too much power. Otherwise it skews.

I want better access to education in this country. It's a pain in the arse to be trained in new fields without having to jump through hoops. There is also value in it. I think our medical system is a bit of a joke.
You don’t need to be all socialist, or all capitalist.

Cuba is probably one of the only places where your tour guide was a doctor, or professor. Your kids are all wards of the state as well.

Chavez nationalised, didn't compensate, then ran it into the ground. An example is that the steel company had about 5000 workers before and 4.5 million ton output. And 22000 workers with a
200, 000 ton output after it was nationalised and run down.
So yeah socialists running things suck. People still end up eating garbage.

From that clip above, I thought he/the gov't, paid private companies to buy them out. That bank from Santander; LaFarge by the look of it.

Oil and its reserves... probably didn't pay for those. Most wouldn't pay either seeing how they're national assets somehow got given away.

Quite a few of my relatives lost everything when the commies took over. Beside a grand uncle who was crazy rich - French citizenship rich - the others were just middle class people with a nice house in Saigon the comrades thought would better serve the revolution if they take it.

So yea, I'm no fan of asset confiscation "for the motherland". We all know where the asset goes.

But that doesn't mean national-security sized assets should just be left in the hand of foreign corporations.

So when the plebs marched to free Chavez from his prison... that's probably a sign there's enough people who like what he's doing. I mean, no one marched around Bagdhad to save Saddam right?

I can't imagine the plebs in VN or China would ever march to any prison to free the comrades. They might march there, burn the place just to make sure.

Australian healthcare is pretty awesome. Unfortunately it's going to get properly privatised soon enough. By the time my generation retire, we'll probably need to head to Asia for those medical tours.

Parts of its operations are already privatised, internally. Pharmacies, capital equipment, medical waste management. And that's definitely not the complete list.

I always thought "real men" would insult a person straight. Calling their name, finger pointing to their face, then insult them kinda straight. :D

Which is why I like you so much, even if you travel curved lines instead of straight ones.

Society with growing hardship everywhere is on the move. My studies of Carl Marx years back at Uni told my head, properly done is the only fair path.

As American cities succumb to rioting, arson, and looting, it appears as though the liberal custodians of many of these institutions—from the New York Times to Princeton University—have despaired of regaining control of them, and are instead adopting a policy of accommodation. That is, they are attempting to appease their Marxist employees by giving in to some of their demands in the hope of not being swept away entirely.

We don’t know what will happen for certain. But based on the experience of recent years, we can venture a pretty good guess. Institutional liberalism lacks the resources to contend with this threat. Liberalism is being expelled from its former strongholds, and the hegemony of liberal ideas, as we have known it since the 1960s, will end. Anti-Marxist liberals are about to find themselves in much the same situation that has characterized conservatives, nationalists, and Christians for some time now: They are about to find themselves in the opposition.

This means that some brave liberals will soon be waging war on the very institutions they so recently controlled. They will try to build up alternative educational and media platforms in the shadow of the prestigious, wealthy, powerful institutions they have lost. Meanwhile, others will continue to work in the mainstream media, universities, tech companies, philanthropies, and government bureaucracy, learning to keep their liberalism to themselves and to let their colleagues believe that they too are Marxists—just as many conservatives learned long ago how to keep their conservatism to themselves and let their colleagues believe they are liberals.

This is the new reality that is emerging. There is blood in the water and the new Marxists will not rest content with their recent victories. In America, they will press their advantage and try to seize the Democratic Party. They will seek to reduce the Republican Party to a weak imitation of their own new ideology, or to ban it outright as a racist organization. And in other democratic countries, they will attempt to imitate their successes in America. No free nation will be spared this trial. So let us not avert our eyes and tell ourselves that this curse isn’t coming for us. Because it is coming for us."

Further Marxism coming to your school.

School district demands that parents not observe remote learning classroom
As parents got a bird's eye view of classroom lessons while observing virtual lessons this spring, many were surprised to find just how much social justice indoctrination was being imparted to students.
Parents, however, grew concerned that teachers were intending to hide their lessons from parents and guardians.

Marx was not about prosperity. He was about getting an equal fair go for everyone.

The selfishness of humans have not been able to handle that yet. So we swing wildly from left to right and all leaders rewarding themselves first. Just look at the Qantas CEO, put off a heap of people the last few days and given himself a bonus in the millions.

Just have another whisky Wayne

I don't drink whiskey.

A fair go, I agree with... and I likewise detest the current corporatism. But equality of outcome can never work... EVER. Fair prosperity is necessary for human well-being, poverty and mass murder is the only outcome of Marxism.

Capitalism... true capitalism, has always benefited society.

Maybe but capitalism by government yes, but privatization from Thatcher on has created too much of a divide. Half of the worlds wealth is now in the hands of less than 1% of the people.

As an old ex-shearer used to soak it up but don't drink at all anymore. But we must party, only thing left
