Peter Dutton - The Great Pretender?

Well it hurt and I'm emotional. So much injustice in the world...
My bad, just too many reds, in celebration of the Libs retiring Mal.
Why the hell the libs put in Malcolm Shorten, to take on Bill shorten, will always be a mystery to me.
But all's well that ends well. I do apologies, for catching you up in my festivities.
Jeez I need to go to bed. LOl
What a great day.

So you think you will be laughing after the next election ?

ScoMo has a very tough tasks ahead of him, but he was the immigration minister who stopped the boats against all manner of criticism.

Also remember the Bill Shorten's leadership of Labor under the surface is brittle, as evidenced by Anthony Albanese's positioning prior to the Super Saturday by-elections.

Whilst I am not keen on Labor's tax proposals, they're starting in the wrong place in my view, right now surely the most important step is to get some sort of workable government in place be that Liberal, Labor or anyone else.

Which policies are you referring to? Interested to hear your thoughts

I think they will do a lot better, than they would have with Malcolm, it is still highly unlikely they will win.
But a lot will depend on Morrisons presentation.
He may well attract a lot of Liberal voters who would otherwise have deserted the party.
Time will tell, I think it may be a closer election than some think, I guess the polls will show a trend very quickly especially after this debacle.

It beats me how a bloke worth $300 million with a harbour side mansion could be regarded as a Labor sympathiser, but I think that just shows how far to the Right some in the Party actually are.

They have deserted the Centre imo, and I don't think that will suit the electorate.

Only some of them have.
Still the majority want to serve the people despite News Corp and Extremist jocks agitating.

Actually you will find most, really well of people lean heavily to the left, I have found it strange but put it down to the fact it makes them feel better about themselves.
However if you ask them to give up their privalidge, for the better good, they soon find a reason why it can't be done. Lol
I suppose it is the same as why would Labor have Kevin Rudd, wasn't his wife a multi millionaire? I guess you can't just fit people in boxes anymore.

The other thing I personally find funny, is the way Labor go on about Liberals pandering to all their cashed up multinational mates, yet Turnbull had to chuck in a heap of money because they are broke.
Even today they are saying in the papers that the Liberals are broke, so where is all this money from their business mates.lol
I'm sure the unions are pumping in plenty for Labor.
Just another load of missinformation I guess, but people love it.

So glad Dumbo, sorry, Dutton didn't get the nod. ScoMo is fair more palatable but sheesh, TA is still there with his cronies, sigh...
