Hi guys,
I've started looking into Nikkei futures on the OSE, however have noticed in my data that the first trades normally don't occur right on market opening of 9am Japan time, instead, I'm seeing days of 9:02, 03am opens, but sometimes it opens right on 9am.
At first I thought it was a problem with my feed or charting (IB & AB) but upon enquiring with IB, they confirmed there was no lag, since the market did have its first trade at 9:02am on Friday.
Now I'm just wondering is this the normal thing with OSE futures, or is it a problem with IB feed? It seems odd to have a market such as the Nikkei to have varied open times? and how would one know what minute it would start on any given day?
Thanks for any feedback.
