Goodness me, when I couldn't have FAR as Miner already chose it, clearly I should have hunted out another penny dreadful! I guess I have no chance with a "real stock"!

Don't give up just yet Ann, it's only the end of the first trading day of the month. Anything can happen between now and November 30. CUV was the winning stock in September and it was $14 by the end of the month ($600 million market cap), so larger cap stocks can win the competition, it's just a little more difficult.

Ahh bless Joe, I was actually just looking at what people put up as entries, I did absolutely no research into the game plan. Now I see the penny dreadfuls are clearly the stocks of choice. I just entered for a bit of fun and win, lose or come last I am just here in the competition for the sake of being here. Not to say I won't try to be a serious contender when I get a grip of the game down the track.

Don't worry, I didn't do any research either. Just saw a penny stock on the biggest losers board and said "I'll ave some of that!".
If I finish anywhere but tail end I'll be counting my blessings.

I remember a tip scored a podium once by tipping against the ASX (BBOZ) +13% last month.

The yearly comp is more fun... 10c minimum (which is why I'm running last )

I have my L plates clearly on my rear for the Tipping Comp Miner. I wanted FAR being an oiler and thinking the POO would bounce back up off $60. I was all ready with dreadful and predictable puns for FAR. However I am not sure I will fare much better with BPT.

Congratulations to barney, Sdajii, and Darc Knight for taking out the top three places in the November 2018 stock tipping competition!

barney finished in first place with an outstanding 43.75% return with AMG! In second place was Sdajii who achieved a solid 15.45% return with APT. Rounding out the top three for October was Craton with AO1, which returned a respectable 10%.
