Missed the Comp thread! (All months)

Damn Missed my entry
Don't ya just hate that?
Know how ya feel. Me...right, gotta do this before I miss out again but, it's too far out to post up a pick so I'll do this in a couple of days time. A couple of days turns into a few days that turns into a week or even more then boom, missed the boat! o_O

Ha, ha! Great thread idea...this is me every month! I was enjoying joining in a couple years back...then, every month I would miss it. I don't know what it was, but I would. I'll try and not be late to this thread in future  Otherwise I'll have to start the, 'missed the missed the comp thread' thread! :roflmao:

3 Wins and 5 Placings, that's not too bad @systematic, especially the 318% Win :xyxthumbs. Better get back into it ;).

It would have been WSP.

What I would like to know is, @tech/a why would it have been WSP? As it's been in a downtrend, what was going to turn it around?
I've noticed most of your Tips are above your rising 15d MA with a high Volume Bullish Bar attracting you to the stock in the first place. Any chance of a chart explaining your thoughts as to why WSP?

i'll try for the competing for 4 years part first , then see if i can get some more placings

Just out of interest, @debtfree , what were the participation numbers back then? Were there ever more than 100 entries for a month (and thus getting in early could have been necessary)?

Of course, if it's commercial-in-confidence, that's OK

Averages Below:
2004 - 17 (First 5 months)
2005 - 24
2006 - 52 (Dec 84)
2007 - 87 (June 100) the most (limit)
2008 - 75 ( June 83) 2 months data missing
2009 - 62 (July 75)
2010 - 49
2011 - 54
2012 - 43
2013 - 42
2014 - 35
Mid 30s to low 30s ever since.
From what I can remember there were book prizes when it kicked off then it moved into cash prizes when all the entries came in ? ?.
Prize money hasn't gone up in the last couple of decades along with inflation ? so it's lost a bit of attraction.
