Hrmm well my decision to buy into MDA has been put off for now due to "The storm of the century" about to hit!

Doesnt make much sense to me. If you were sitting on the fence and looking to buy in, then you should be very pleased with 'the storm of the cenutry' - enables you to buy in a bit lower - that said dont expect the SP to fall much, if any, as they were only delaying things for a few days until the storm past.

By the way, I am in the USA at the moment - and the 'storm of the century' was significantly downgraded and they say there is no real problem now.

Sorry mate should clarify. Sitting on the fence i mean i have 4 others in a watch list for purchases i will be making in coming days. "Storm of the century" was what it was referred to in various media articles, good to know that it wont have much of an impact. Will be watching with great interest.

Yes these days the media like to tread between truth or what makes sensational news. They new Hurricane Katrina was such a hot topic, the media went bezerk this tmie.

If you are interested n MDA you might want to check out ggp as well. I dont hold ggp, they seem to have run hotter than mda so I think mda is much better buying at this point. Anyway the main thing to note is the potential for a huge oil and gas discovery.

asx code: mdao options are also another worth lokoing into if you are interested in this stock. The SP is cheaper and what makes this valuable is that you get full exposure to the SP movement without outlaying too much.

GGP is the operator of the bullseye well, while MDA just has working interest of 15% in the bullseye well.

Am I able to buy the MDAO options just the same as buying the MDA shares thru my online broker? I was under the impression that you had to have shares in MDA when they offered the options (to raise capital) and only those ppl were able to purchase them. I see that the Speculator did this thru his weekly column on the ninemsn site.

You should be able to buy the options through the code MDAO. The options were a 1:1 at float of the share.

on Jimonville #1 well, this week ... three positive time
cycles are due to slot into place for MDA, midweek onwards,
this week .....
