May 2021 Stock Competition Entries!

The visual journey of all entries compared to one another at the end of Week 3 for The May Tipping Competition is below for your viewing.

@peter2 (AIS up 65%) still holds onto 1st place quite easily :xyxthumbs but there are others doing their best to close the gap and with 6 more trading days left in the month anything can happen.

@Padowan (CYM up 26.32%) had a good week and today snatch 2nd place off @craigj (KOR up 25%) who also had a good week to be sitting in 3rd place. :xyxthumbs

@explod (SVL up 22.92%) had a quite end to the week but has hung on to be a very close 4th place and ready to strike next week. I noticed 4 other entries @kennas, @greggles, @over9k & @apoenzyme had great finishes to the week. :xyxthumbs

Some Good Movers,
THIS WEEK: @greggles 33.33% - @over9k 18.70% - @apoenzyme 18.18% - @Padowan 16.13% - @explod 15.69% - @kennas 15.63 - @craigj 15.38% - @Muchado 15%
TODAY: @kennas 23.33% - @greggles 14.29% - @peter2 10%

@Faramir retains dusting duties over the weekend. ;)

Enjoy your weekend everyone. :)

I picked this because there were supposed to be a bunch of announcements coming out this month that might have excited the hotcockers.

But, nada! Mobilising a second drill rig does not count. Crap. Still, might go up a bit. On nada.

There's always next month.

I've hired the services of the Fed's PPT (Plunge Protection Team) to protect my interests in the May comp. So far so good.

Yeah, I asked my people about this Ossy bloke called Peter. They said he was after protection from my Plunge Team or something

I said; Do I look like I have time to protect people, especially Ossies called Peter. I mean, I have my hair to look after.

I mean, call Clint Eastwood if you want protection. That's what I would do.

Anyone who can survive for months with a tube of sunscreen and a carton of beer can't be trusted.

In America we buy 2 Dobermans and an AK47 if we want protection. (Assuming Clint is unavailable)

You Ossies could learn a thing or two from us Americans!

I think @debtfree has a different approach - just maybe he went out and paid $6,000 on 137,000 shares @.045 to get off the bottom of the ladder.:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
I believe @debtfree is down but not out.

I myself am in the green on LRS for the first time this comp and have decided to take the outside line with @peter2 and @explod way in the distance on the rails.

Three trading days left.

Yes a different approach here for sure @apoenzyme and just between the two of us, I've been appalled and absolutely disgusted by @Faramir dusting duties over the last couple of weeks and had to take it upon myself to clean up the area ready for next month. As you can see we are meeting together tonight to sort out a few issues.

BTW: If money was on this o_O I would be out on the 1st sign of trouble which was on the 1st bloody day , large red down day with above average volume ... out the next morning at the latest.
But, in this game and without the knowledge of Fed's PPT availability I'm stuck! ? Certainly cheeky from a newbie but all in good fun. :xyxthumbs

Thank you @Garpal Gumnut for your support :roflmao: also, I would love to see that dark blue line finish like Kiwi in the 1983 Melbourne Cup and I'm sure you would have been there to see it.

Some good mover today

Capture.PNG

The dusting duties meeting with @Faramir (CUL) last night didn't go down too well. Last seen this morning throwing the feather duster at me and saying something about where the sun don't shine! ? ;)

All rather academic, with 2 days to go, I'd have thought

@peter2 in front and a whole lot of daylight to #2

I must admit to today having had afternoon tea with two hairy legged Suffragettes.

As I round the last corner, very wide on the outside, in the far distance I can see @debtfree rounding the first corner, @peter2 closing on the finish line and @apoenzyme and @explod using the whip.

I must say that @peter2 would be a very popular winner and I have a side bet on him. Steady as she goes @peter2 .?

Then there are the Suffragettes.

@debtfree maybe interview the others for feather dusting duties. Lots of willing applicants. ???? maybe just turn the graph up side down. Then neither of us need to worry about those duties anymore. ??

Suffragettes I was told are supposed to nobble nags on the rail side. LRS is in a trading halt until 1st June.

I will now leave the field to quiten her down as she has jumped on LRS facing me.

All good fortune to the rest of the field including Lazarus , I mean @debtfree .

LRS might be a good tip for June, then @Garpal Gumnut .... its a JORC resource statement, not a cap raising.

And Emily Davidson did more than nobble a nag in 1913, she nobbled herself permanently.

End of Week 4 and only 1 more trading day left in The May Monthly Tipping Competition.

Sitting in 1st Place and well clear of everyone else is @peter2 (AIS up 70%). For the last 3 weeks we've had stiff necks watching him flying high above us all. Great pick :xyxthumbs.

In 2nd Place is @greggles (CDT up 35.17%) who put in a good challenge today but weaken towards the end of the day, maybe try again on Monday @greggles ? :) :xyxthumbs

A good day today for @kennas (ASO up 29.03%) puts him in 3rd Place :xyxthumbs. Plenty of ups and downs for many this week.

The PPT have held AIS at 0.16, sold CDT so that it doesn't get to 0.023 and ASO should be safely held.

Hands and heels at the moment may not need the whip. There'll be no standing in the saddle and saluting as I cross the line.

I see that my selection for the next month (RDS) has bolted through the gates early. I hope it's a stayer not a sprinter.

Congratulations to peter2, explod and greggles for taking out the top three spots in the May 2021 stock tipping competition! :xyxthumbs

Peter2 finished in first place with an impressive 60% return with AIS! In second place was explod - just pipping greggles at the post in the final hour - who achieved a respectable 37.50% with SVL. Rounding out the top three for May was greggles who selected CDT, which returned a handy 35.71%.

Can peter2, explod and greggles please contact me via PM regarding their prizes.

Best of luck to all in the June competition! If you haven't entered already then don't forget to get your entry in before the deadline! :xyxthumbs

Here are the final results for May:

Ahh, to Joe and all my supporters thank you very much. It's been a long time between wins. I must admit I didn't notice SVL (@explod ) sneaking up along the rails.

I sold my position in AIS just prior to the start of May and didn't buy the 1st blue bar that indicated the start of the next opportunity. My bad.

May has always been a good month for me as it's my birth month. ?
I choose May to get my SFund pension. :greedy:
I achieved the top ranking for May in my tennis group. ?

To top it off, I win the ASF monthly comp. Life is good.

Unfortunately I can't buy you all a drink to celebrate with me, ? instead, I'll have one for each of you.

I'd like to donate my prize to the ASF legal fund. @Joe Blow would you please arrange that for me.
