On commsec company info you can view directors share holdings. I was just wondering what they mean when they talk about "indirect shares" and "options".

Are the options put or call options and how/when is the exercise price set?

thoughts?

Indirect shares can mean shares held by a separate company or entity that the director has an interest in.
The options can be either ones traded freely on the market or more likely Directors options issued as an incentive on top of normal directors fees. They themselves set the strike price and date, they are usually awarded as part of the AGM process. ( I dont think that many directors would be seen holding put options in their own company. :D )
