I am after historical financial data for ASX listed companies. I am after the all financial statements (balance sheet, etc.) listed on a database that can be easily downloaded to excel.

I realise you can some data from Yahoo finance, but this information is very slim and only goes back a couple of years.

When I was at uni we used a resource called Finanalysis, however, it seems that this is for corporate subscription.

Any suggestions. Apologies if someone has already asked this question. I did search the forum for about an hour before posting.

Web based would be preferred and I don't mind if there is a subscription fee, as long as I don't need a second mortgage for it.

Cheers

Try info@weblink.com.au I've been using them for years... very reliable. You'll probably have to pay something for backdata.

They also market Bullcharts... my favourite charting software... Aussie homegrown.

Let me put it another way.

I am doing want to do DCF modelling but the information on sites like yahoo finance is quite restrictive. Those that use historical financials to do their modelling could you please let me know what resources you use?
