Hi guys I need your help. I'm looking to consider investing in up to ten large cap stocks which primary produce/mine gold and would like your opinions on which ones you feel are a good choice. Happy investing!

What do you consider a large Cap...what's your cut off? im guessing with the ten largest pure producers, by the time you get to number 8 or 9 you mite be looking at Caps under 300 mill. :dunno:
 
There are 13 goldies in the ASX200

AVO,EAU,GBG,IAU,KCN,MML,NCM,OGC,PNA, PRU,RRL,RSG,SBM

They certainly have been great to own some

all are leveraged to the gold price

Gee i really have taken my eyes of the golden ball :rolleyes: RRL has a cap of almost a billion..i remember when they were just a prospector with some little spread out deposits...how things have changed.

S&P have a gold all ords index which lists all the gold stocks that are in the all ords. I found this to be a good place to start my gold stock research. If you go to their website and register as a user, there is some pretty handy info you can download about the index and its constituents.
