Iress live data into Amibroker

Amibroker Development Kit (ADK) can write data plug ins. Can anyone do this for Iress? I am willing to negotiate writers time cost for a working script.

I have the same question!?
Currently have iress through westpac.
Trying to get started with Amibroker.
Will be happy to use norgate data to start with (will see what i can do with trials...), but ultimately, norgate doesn't provide live data feeds... which is a shame.

Hey Buddy,

Have you got Webiress or Iress Viewpoint ? Since switching to Viewpoint I've been unable to connect with excel ( sorry slightly off topic ! )..

Not really off topic... it's all pertinent.
I believe it's Webiress?, I don't like it so don't use it. Opens through java runtime.
Haven't used excel for anything trading related. Did you create the excel stuff yourself?
Only ask as the "mapping" (data path) from excel to where it gets the data from may need to be remapped.
So, from iress, data can go to excel, which means it shouldn't be too hard for something to sort it straight into Amibroker, as it does accept ASCII/ CSV text file stuff. Stuffed if I know enough, or have the time to start tinkering...!

Hi,

Sounds like you have Webiress, not sure about connecting it to your Software.

Many years ago prior to me having an account with IB, I was using the Webiress Excel plug in to update portfolio and work out option combination midpoints on the fly, pretty primitive stuff but it worked OK at the time, the newer Viewpoint seems a little flashier but I can't get it to connect to Excel and it's no good for Options stuff.
