Interactive Brokers Troubleshooting

I've always just used my username and account number in the reference area in ANZ online banking and has worked flawlessly!

Hi, All

I am a new customer of IB. I have a very simple question regarding shares. I bought ANZ shares about a month ago (I had sold put option and it was assigned). I did not get any evidence that I am an owner of the shares (yet) except that they are present in my IB account.
Should I do anything to get hard copy of "CHESS holding statement" ?
Will I receive dividends ? If not, then what I need to do in order to get them.
What I need to do in order to get HIN in IB ?

Thank you.

You will not get a chess holding statement with IB they do not use the chess system. Yes you will still get div's

Re: XJO Options

Is anyone trading ASX XJO options through IB (IB code AP)? Whilst the options are visible and can be traded from the TWS window, they do not show up in the OptionTrader application.

Hi everyone,

I too trade XJO options(via commsec) and i notice the above is still happening, a couple of weeks ago i tried to place a XJO option trade via IB and it was rejected(unavailable), trouble ticket reply was that they will be offered soon,

Has anyone else been in contact with IB lately regarding this issue?

EDIT> AP now do show up in Optiontrader, (but not tradeable)

Partial fills on illiquid ASX shares
------------------------------

If you have a partial fill on an ASX share during a particular day - can you edit the order to make sure it fills completely later in the day , without IB regarding it as a "new" order and maybe getting a new $6 minimum?

I gather if it fills in a following day it is regarded as a new order.

Has anyone actually had experience of the way these situations work.

You can place a limit order.

Activate GTC good till cancelled.

You need to activate kill or fill orders.

I think there is a tab to access complex orders, and it should be somewhere in that.

Just a quick question about IB's ASX data. I will be subscribing to the real time data, but would like to know if they have historic ASX data as well?? If so, how far does this data range back??

Thanks

B

G'Day Beneteau,

You can look at a chart going back 3 years.
